FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — 19-year-old Danny Lamas of Fresno has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Fresno in December.
Fresno police responded to an apartment complex near Pleasant Avenue and Fedora Avenue for a nine-round ShotSpotter activation around 11 a.m. on December 21, 2025.

When officers arrived, they found three shooting victims.
Two of the victims, a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to Community Regional Medical Center. Both of them were listed in stable condition.
The third victim, 35-year-old Mariano Cabrera, had multiple gunshot wounds.
He was also taken to CRMC, but did not survive.
Homicide detectives learned that Cabrera and the other man were confronted by an unknown male inside the apartment complex who opened fire, hitting both of them.
The woman, who is unrelated to the two men, was unintentionally shot.
On Thursday, homicide detectives arrested Danny Lamas for the murder of Mariano Cabrera and the shooting of the other two victims.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
