The man who was shot and killed in central Fresno over the weekend has been identified as 35-year-old Mariano Cabrera.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A suspect is in custody in connection to a triple shooting in central Fresno that killed a man.

Authorities took 19-year-old Danny Lamas into custody on Thursday.
The shooting happened on December 21, 2025, at the Pleasant Village Apartments at Pleasant and Fedora avenues.
Police say Lamas approached 35-year-old Mariano Cabrera and a man, and gunshots rang out.
A woman nearby was also shot.
Cabrera later died from his injuries at Community Regional Medical Center.
Lamas has since been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
