ORANGE, Calif. — September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Hendrik King’s battle with cancer started when he was just five-years-old. After 844 days of treatment and more than 25 emergency room visits, he is now cancer-free.
And now Hendrik is spreading hope to other kids fighting the same battle at Rady Children’s Health Orange County and it involves Legos.
