A boy driving a miniature motorcycle died Wednesday night in Shafter when he crashed into another vehicle, the Kern County coroner’s office reported Friday.
An agency news release said a pocketbike operated by 15-year-old Andres Gomez Osomio collided with an unidentified vehicle at 9:04 p.m. at South Shafter Avenue and Riverside Street.
It noted he died at the scene from his injuries.
