A woman suspected of stealing more than $15,000 worth of beauty products from stores across Southern California was taken into custody in a Tarzana parking lot, police said.
Surveillance images of the suspect allegedly taking products during 14 separate incidents at 13 beauty supply stores in Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura counties were posted on the Brea Police Department’s Facebook page Thursday.

Police also shared the location of each store and the value of the merchandise taken:

Police estimated the total value of the stolen merchandise at $15,164.73. “That’s one expensive beauty routine,” Brea police stated in the post, which also showed video of the suspect being arrested.

“Her shopping spree eventually ended in a Tarzana parking lot, where our detectives took her into custody,” police said. “She may have skipped the checkout line, but she couldn’t skip the consequences.”
The suspect’s name was not released.
