FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A 17-year-old boy who was shot multiple times at an apartment complex near Ninth Street and Bulldog Lane on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, has died, and Fresno police have made an arrest while continuing to search for two additional suspects.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, homicide detectives arrested London West, 20, of Fresno for the victim’s murder. West was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
Detectives also identified two additional suspects, Denim McVey, 18, and Jaheim Packard, 16, both of Fresno. McVey and Packard remain at large and are wanted for PC 187(a) – Murder.
This comes after officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 10:30 p.m. and found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and EMS personnel provided life-saving measures at the scene before the victim was taken to CRMC for medical treatment. The teen later died at the hospital.
