FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A man was injured Saturday night after officers said he was intentionally struck by a vehicle in downtown Fresno.
The incident happened near Dickey Playground on Calaveras Street and Voorman Avenue. Police said the victim was walking or standing in the area when he was purposely struck by the vehicle.
The man suffered injuries to his back and face.
The incident is being investigated as a felony assault. Officers are still searching for the driver and the vehicle involved.
There’s no word yet on a possible motive.
