LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) — Long Beach High School and all other schools in the district are currently on lockdown due to a potential threat, according to the school district.
Long Beach Police Chief Billy Seal confirmed the threat was made specifically to the high school.
Officials said Long Beach Police are looking into the situation. Officers with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Gulfport Police Department are assisting.

School District leaders are urging parents not to come to school campuses at this time, adding that students can not be checked out during the lockdown.
