5 arrested on suspicion of DUI during Saturday enforcement in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Five drivers were arrested in Fresno on suspicion of driving under the influence during a Fresno Police Department enforcement operation on Saturday.

Police said drivers charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, along with a suspended license.

The Fresno Police Department said it will hold another DUI enforcement operation on October 24th, along with a series of DUI enforcement patrols and checkpoints throughout the year.
