FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Senior Alyson Sor continued her strong play at the Mason Rudolph Classic at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, finishing with a second straight 71 to close the tournament in a tie for 25th place overall.
Final Results
Sor’s even-par 71 featured four birdies and lifted the senior up into a tie for 25th place overall in the 87 golfer field, collecting her eighth and ninth career rounds of par or better in the process. Emma Kang had her best round of the tournament with a 76, a score matched by Erin Lee who tied with Kylie Phi for the second-best score in the team lineup. Sophomore Chloe Park had the team’s final day drop score.
The Beach picked up another spot on the team leaderboard on the final day, passing Florida Atlantic to end the tournament in 13th place.
Long Beach State’s next tournament will be the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by Denver. That tournament will also be held over three days, starting on Friday, October 2.
