The proposed $64,600 would cover three parts of the work. Boswell Engineering estimates $22,500 for land surveying, $16,600 for preliminary construction documents and $25,500 for New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection permitting.
The Ramapo River has long been part of Oakland’s history. The borough says numerous mills in the area were once powered by the river and surrounding streams.
