The Golden Knights opened their preseason with a 4-2 win over the Kings. They got goals from Viliam Kmec, Raphael Lavoie, and Jackson Hallum; Hallum had two goals in the win. Adin Hill played the whole game stopping 17 of the 19 shots he faced.

San Jose Sharks News & Notes:

The Sharks dropped their preseason opener to the Ducks 6-2 on Sunday. They got goals from Eric Pohlkamp and Jimmy Huntington in the loss. Eric Comrie made the start stopping 14 of the 16 shots he faced in the first 30 minutes. Matthew Davis finished the game off stopping 12 of the 16 shots he faced.

Vegas Golden Knights

Tanner Laczysnki appeared in ten games for Vegas last season recording five assists and was even in plus/minus. In 62 games at Henderson in the AHL he had 64 points on 22 goals and 42 assists. He wsa a +37 with four power-play goals and three game-winning goals. Laczysnki appeared in six playoff games for Henderson scoring a goal and adding three assists. He was a minus-two with a power-play goal and game-winning goal.

San Jose Sharks

Ivar Stenberg will make his Sharks debut tonight. The Sharks drafted him second overall in the June Draft. Last season in 43 games at Frolunda HC in Sweden in the SHL he had 33 points on 11 goals and 22 assists; he was a plus-ten. Stenberg in the SHL playoffs had four assists in six games and was a minus-three. In seven World Juniors Championship games for Sweden he had ten points on four goals and six assists; he was a plus-five.
