The San Diego Sheriff’s Department blocked off several streets Tuesday near the San Marcos station after someone dropped off a suspicious device believed to be an explosive, the sheriff’s said.
At around 11 a.m., sheriff deputies blocked off Santar Place and asked drivers to avoid Rancheros Drive between Woodland Parkway and Twin Oaks.
The investigation is ongoing.
