Borrego Rooftop Kitchen + Cocktails, located on the ninth floor of Hotel Indigo San Diego – Gaslamp Quarter, will celebrate National Taco Day with a specialty taco offering available exclusively on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The featured offering will include two tacos, with a choice of blackened mahi topped with mango slaw and avocado crema; or carne asada with pico de gallo and cotija cheese, paired with a choice between a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne or añejo tequila served neat for two distinctly different takes on the taco pairing, priced at $25.
Beyond the specialty tacos, Borrego Rooftop Kitchen + Cocktails offers a variety of Baja-inspired cuisine and shareable dishes, complemented by expertly crafted cocktails. Standout options include ahi poke nachos with crispy wonton chips, marinated yellowfin tuna, pickled red onions, green onions, avocado, Sriracha aioli and furikake, priced at $24; mango shrimp ceviche with cucumber, serrano, onion, avocado, cilantro and tortilla chips, priced at $22; Borrego Wagyu burger featuring two beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions and house sauce on a brioche bun, priced at $24; and more.
