Candice said the mansion was completed in 1903 by M. Theo. Kearney, the “Raisin King of California.”

Kearney died in 1906 and had no heirs, so he left the mansion to the University of California.

Kearney Mansion is located at 7160 W. Kearney Boulevard, inside Kearney Park.
