Kern County Fair

Create memories with your family at the Kern County Fair. This year’s lineup includes a hard rock concert series, livestock exhibitions and local vendors. And of course, there will be fairground classics such as funnel cake and other treats.
Tickets are on sale now — and children 5 years and under get in free.
Old World Oktoberfest
Huntington Beach
Until Nov. 8
Raise a glass at Oktoberfest at Old World Village. From traditional entertainment to wiener dog races and authentic German dishes, you can experience a true Oktoberfest without leaving SoCal.
There will be games, music and, of course, German beers available for purchase.
You can buy day tickets or get a season pass to enjoy the festival all season long.
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort

Through Oct. 31
Halloween time is here at Disneyland Resort. Beloved Disney characters get new looks for the spooky season, and rides such as The Haunted Mansion turn into festive experiences.
And with events like the Oogie Boogie Bash and a special, spooky fireworks and light show, Disneyland will be “the scariest place on Earth” this fall.

History, art and nature come together at the Huntington Library and Gardens. You can get a close-up look at flora from around the world in the sprawling rose garden, Japanese and Chinese gardens, and more.
Whether you’re in the mood for a long walk around the grounds, or learning about art history, there’s no shortage of exhibitions and events to explore at the Huntington.
