A late-night crash in Northeast Fresno left one officer injured and now is in the hospital.
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A late-night crash in Northeast Fresno left one officer injured and now is in the hospital.
The crash happened Tuesday night at Friant and Lakeview.
Police say they blocked off an area for a single-vehicle collision.
Around 11 p.m. a minivan going north on Friant collided with the police vehicle.
“Our officer was inside the patrol vehicle when the vehicle rolled over. He’s in good spirits but injured,” said Officer Castillo.
It was reported that the minivan driver was arrested for DUI and the officer is suffered minor injuries.
Cones were not set up before the crash because of construction in the area.
