FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno police arrested a 57-year-old man after investigators say he performed illegal sex acts with three juvenile girls, allegations that surfaced after members of a local church raised concerns about his conduct.
The Fresno Police Department said it received a report Aug. 27, 2026, that Benjamin Mora of Fresno had been involved in unlawful sexual acts with minors.
Police said Mora was an unpaid volunteer at a local church, and that members of the church alerted church leaders that Mora had possibly assaulted minor children.
Church leaders then reported the matter to law enforcement.
Detectives confirmed that beginning in 2025, Mora performed illegal sex acts with three female juvenile victims, police said.
According to police, Mora was arrested Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, and booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple sexual assault-related charges.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the investigation to contact the Fresno Police Department.
