A San Jose restaurant owner who said she has lost count of how many times burglars have struck her business is calling on the city to do more.

The owner of Mendoza’s Restaurant, located on McKee Road near Regional Medical Center, walked into work Wednesday morning to find broken glass.

The owner said this time the burglars did not take anything because there was nothing of value.

The owner is tired of the constant break-ins and the costs that come with repairing broken glass and equipment. She reports the break-ins to police and said officers come by to ask questions and take pictures, but she said she never hears of any arrests.
