The UC Berkeley Haas Spieker Undergraduate Program has again been ranked No. 3 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 Best Undergraduate Business Programs.

Wharton ranked No. 1, followed by MIT at No. 2. Haas again is the No. 1 public undergraduate business program, while UC Berkeley remained the country’s #1 public university in the new ranking.

Haas also performed well in specialty rankings, ranking in the Top 10 in eight business areas:

No. 3 for Entrepreneurship

No. 3 for Management

No. 6 for Finance

No. 6 for Business Analytics

No. 6 for Marketing

No. 7 for Quantitative Analysis

No. 9 for Production & Operations Managment

No. 9 for Real Estate

The business school ranking is based entirely on a peer assessment survey of deans and senior faculty members at peer institutions. They are invited to rate peer programs with which they are familiar, based on each program’s scholarship record, curriculum, and quality of faculty and graduates.

On a scale of 1-5, Wharton received a 4.8, MIT received an average peer assessment score of 4.7, and Haas received a 4.6.
