FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A person connected to a burglary was arrested after a police chase ended with the car crashing into a light pole in Fresno, deputies say.
Deputies were dispatched to a residential burglary in the 3900 block of Clinton Avenue around 6 p.m.
When they arrived in the area, some neighbors provided a potential license plate for the suspect vehicle.
The investigation led deputies to the 2200 block of South Holloway.
When deputies arrived, the suspect vehicle was seen leaving the area.
Deputies attempted to stop the car but the driver failed to stop, which led to a small chase.
The suspect crashed into a light pole and another car in the area of Chestnut and Florence Avenues.
No injuries were reported.
