A new California law is in effect requiring all school districts in the state to have policies in place either limiting or prohibiting the use of cellphones in school.
The California Politics 360 team reached out to the superintendent offices of more than 400 districts statewide to learn about their cellphone use policy. We gave them two weeks to respond, but as of Friday evening, only 19 districts responded. Melanie Wingo takes a closer look at one school district’s policy.
