Sutter Health has opened a new urgent care clinic near Oracle Park, giving people in and around Mission Bay another option for same-day medical care.
The clinic at 240 King St. is Sutter’s second urgent care location in San Francisco. It is open seven days a week and has four exam rooms, portable X-ray equipment and laboratory services.
The health system said the new clinic occupies about 2,156 square feet and is designed to treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries that need attention but do not require an emergency room.
Services include treatment for infections, sprains and minor fractures, with connections to primary care, specialists and other services when more care is needed.
The King Street clinic is open for walk-ins from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, according to Sutter’s current directory.

“We are so excited to open our second urgent care in San Francisco,” Christina Oh, Sutter Health’s chief operating officer, said in a statement. “People need care where they live and work, and this gives them another way to get care quickly, close to where they are.”
UCSF‘s Mission Bay urgent care, located inside the Bayfront Medical Building, also offers walk-in and same-day appointments seven days a week, along with X-ray, ultrasound and pharmacy services.
Sutter opened its first San Francisco urgent care at 55 2nd St. in the Financial District in November 2025.
The new King Street location continues Sutter’s expansion of its urgent care network across Northern California. The health system said it currently operates more than 40 urgent care centers and plans to exceed 50 locations by 2030.
Mission Bay has undergone substantial development in recent years, with new housing, offices, retail and major health and research facilities joining the neighborhood’s existing sports and entertainment destinations.
