CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A young pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car being driven by a young driver in Clovis, police say.
Clovis Police officers responded to multiple 911 calls after a report of a pedestrian being hit at the intersection of Bullard and Temperance a bit after 4:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a male juvenile who had sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the car was also identified as a juvenile.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
DUI is not suspected to be a factor in this case.
Both westbound Bullard and northbound Temperance are closed for this investigation.
