The East Bay is expected to have summer-like temperatures through at least next Wednesday, so take advantage of all there is to do around the Town to either enjoy the outdoors before the heat rises or head indoors where the AC is blasting. The Temescal Arts Community is hosting a week-long series of events in the neighborhood, and if you want to catch some tunes while enjoying eats and a cold drink, don’t miss DJ Gold Gills spinning at Drake’s.
Also, don’t forget to check out our Fall Events roundup to see what else is happening this weekend, like Oaktoberfest in Dimond and the Oakland Black Cowboy parade and festival at DeFremery Park.
Have an event you’d like to see included here? We do our best to stay on top of what’s happening in our community, but we love a tip. Send us a note at azucena@oaklandside.org. You can also use the self-submission form on our events page to add it to our calendar for free.
