Hi, I’m Koah! I’m a sweet, excitable puppy who traveled 2,300 miles from Hawai‘i to Berkeley Humane through the Aloha Dog Project, which helps island shelter dogs find new homes in the Bay Area. I love cuddling, napping, playing and exploring new places. Since I’m still a puppy, I’ll need training, patience and plenty of guidance as I grow. If you’re ready for a large-breed puppy and a new best friend, come meet me! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Meet Genesis! This handsome 1-year-old kitty was born with congenital hind limb differences, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest, cuddliest boy. Personal space isn’t really in Genesis’ vocabulary. He loves being close to people and will happily keep you company whenever he gets the chance. With his affectionate personality and tendency to monopolize all the attention, Genesis would make a wonderful little sidekick for anyone looking for a friendly companion to share their days with. Come meet him in Oakland! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Meet Finn, a sweet, wiggly boy with a big heart and plenty of energy. Finn has a little wobble to his walk, but he never lets it slow him down. He loves hiking, exploring, car rides and meeting new people. He is eager to learn, listens well, and makes a wonderful adventure buddy. After a long day outside, Finn is happy to curl up in/near your lap and fall asleep. He loves pup cups, ear scratches, chin scratches and nose kisses. Finn is ready to find his forever adventure buddy! To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.
