Hollywood Magic takes center stage at this season’s City Ballet of San Diego annual fundraising gala at the historic US Grant Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 14. The evening marks the celebration of City Ballet’s 34th season of artistic excellence, community outreach, and world-class ballet.

Guests will begin the evening at 6 p.m. with a hosted champagne reception, red carpet photos, and silent auction in the hotel’s Palm Court before moving into the Presidential Ballroom at 7 p.m. for a Tinseltown-themed dinner and wine pairing. The celebration continues into the evening with dancing to DJ Loczi at 9 p.m., according to a news release.

Live auction highlights include a trip to New York City and a stay at a luxury beach house on Oahu’s North Shore, among other exclusive packages available only to gala attendees. This year’s Honorary Co-Chairs are Barbie and Dan Spinazzola, and Carol and Tim Haidinger. Anna Scipione chairs the gala committee, planning an exciting and entertaining evening for all patrons, the news release stated.
