Aftershock 2026: How to get to and from the festival
The Aftershock festival, the West Coast’s largest rock festival, is set to begin at Discovery Park in Sacramento, with gates opening at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Festival entrances are on the north side of the park at the Garden Highway or the Jibboom Street entrance from the south.
Attendees are encouraged to use free transit options due to limited parking.
See below for more information on options for getting to and from Discovery Park.
Free transit via SacRT
Sacramento Regional Transit is offering free shuttle bus and light-rail rides for anyone showing a valid Aftershock wristband or ticket.
The bus service departs at 8th and K streets and drops off on Jibboom Street on the south side of Discovery Park.
In many cases, the shuttle buses will run every 10 to 15 minutes.

Paid Parking and shuttle from Cal Expo
Festival organizers said a Park and Ride shuttle will run between Cal Expo and Discovery Park, with parking at Cal Expo, located at 1600 Exposition Boulevard, included in the paid shuttle pass.
As listed by the festival’s ticketing portal, daily Park & Ride passes cost $60 (including fees) on Thursday and Friday and $54 on Saturday and Sunday.
A four-day pass costs $160.
Organizers said shuttles begin about 60 minutes before gates open, run continuously during the day (with limited service during peak evening hours) and continue for roughly 75 minutes after the festival ends each night. Each rider needs their own shuttle pass.
You can also camp at Cal Expo.
Walk-in parking
There are limited options for parking near the festival and walking to it. The entrances are located at Truxel Road & Mill Creek Drive and West El Camino Avenue & Natomas Park Drive.
The lots are a 20-minute walk to the festival and open at 10 a.m. daily. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Daily prices are $54.06. A four-day parking pass is $191.98.
Rideshare options
Festival guidance lists a rideshare zone on the south side of Discovery Park across from the Jibboom Street Bridge and near 500 Bercut Drive.
