Adventist Health hosts ViPink event to promote breast cancer awareness and early detection

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Adventist Health is bringing the community together for ViPink, an event focused on breast cancer awareness, early detection and supporting those affected by the disease. The event will celebrate breast cancer survivors while providing an opportunity for patients, families, friends and community members to come together.

Jacqueline Engstrand, RN, with the AIS Cancer Center at Adventist Health joins ARC Bakersfield to preview ViPink and discuss the importance of breast cancer screenings and support throughout a patient’s cancer journey.
