A taco chain with a string of Sacramento-area locations has expanded to south Natomas with a taqueria in a local shopping center.

Los Inmortales Taquería opened its first Natomas location at 3551 Truxel Road in late summer. Describing itself as the “new go-to Mexican spot in Sacramento,” the owners wrote online that Los Inmortales Taquería has “something for every craving.”

The taquería offers a full menu with an assortment of Mexican food, including carne asada, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortas, and breakfast burritos, but the chain is best known for its tacos and super-sized burritos. The taqueria serves regular tacos for $3.25 each, super burritos for $14.50, and jumbo burritos for $15.45, according to its online menu.

“Good food, good drinks, and all your Mexican favorites waiting for you at our Truxel location,” the restaurant posted online.

The Natomas Marketplace location is the chain’s fifth. Other locations are scattered across Sacramento:

Los Inmortales Taqueria Natomas replaced Rubio’s Coastal Grill. The Baja-style Mexican restaurant closed in 2024, according to its Yelp page. The Mexican food chain, which opened in San Diego in 1983, closed 11 Northern California stores, including the Natomas location.

Los Inmortales Taquería is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, according to its website.
