Dress for Success Bakersfield to unveil remodeled center at grand reopening Thursday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Dress for Success Bakersfield is set to celebrate its grand reopening on Thursday.

Members of the public can attend the reopening and tour the boutique at 1416 17th St. at 5 p.m. Nov. 13, according to the organization.

The reopening will unveil the remodeling of the boutique and career center, which Dress for Success called “a major expansion of its mission and services” in its press release.

Dress for Success also said it is launching inclusive workforce readiness programs for the entire community.

The event will include light refreshments, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opportunity for the community to learn more about the expanded vision, Dress for Success said.

Dress for Success Bakersfield is a nonprofit seeking to help women achieve economic independence by providing support, professional attire and development tools.
