Italian jazz singer and composer Chiara Izzi, based in New York City, brings her acclaimed project “Hits on a Journey” to San Diego for a special evening at The Jazz Lounge.
The project explores great American songs from the 1950s and ’60s that became beloved hits in Italy through their Italian adaptations, creating a musical journey between American and Italian culture. The evening will feature jazz, Italian and American music, and Izzi’s distinctive interpretation of these cross-cultural classics.
The concert takes place during Italian-American Heritage Month, making it a special opportunity to celebrate the musical connections between Italy and the United States.
