Tamarindo Del Mar celebrated five years in the Del Mar community with an anniversary bash on Sept. 24. Del Mar locals and Tamarindo VIPs enjoyed a night of great food, margaritas and music, with special anniversary swag given out to the first 100 guests.

“Reaching five years means so much to our entire team,” said Allison Perricone, general manager of Tamarindo Del Mar in a news release. “We opened in 2020, during an incredibly challenging time, and the support of our guests and the Del Mar community helped us grow into the restaurant we are today. This celebration is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has been part of our story.”
Five years ago, Tamarindo took over the bottom-level corner spot in Del Mar Plaza, with a colorful outdoor patio that looks out onto the village. The menu includes coastal-inspired Mexican Latin cuisine and a lineup of “exceptional” margaritas, including the Mayan Sunshine served up in a tiki glass.
Tamarindo Del Mar is located at 1555 Camino Del Mar, Suite 116-117. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.- 9 p.m.; Friday, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Open for happy hour Monday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more visit tamarindodelmar.com
