REEDLEY, Calif. (KFSN) — The Reedley Police Department will soon receive some new upgrades.
On Monday, Senator Anna Caballero stopped by to present a check for $500,000, made possible by the state senate.
The goal of this funding is to expand the existing police headquarters, which is currently shared with city hall.
The state’s investment will help to fix up a recently purchased building, allowing for a better space for the department to meet the community’s needs.
Reedley Police Chief Mark Ediger shared the department’s excitement and need for the expansion.
