SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A man died after he was struck by a vehicle in south Sacramento on Tuesday night, according to police.
The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded to reports of a collision before 8:30 p.m. in the 8100 block of Signal Court near Power Inn Road.
The man was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with officers.
Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
Road closures are in place on Power Inn Road between Eldercreek Road and Lemon Hill Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation.
