FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — From fair fun to fair food, there are countless ways to save at the Big Fresno Fair.
“There are a lot of different opportunities and free days for you to get into the fair,” says Operations and Interim Events Manager, Taylor Collins. “We’re trying to make it easy and accessible so everyone can see what we have here in Fresno.”
Discounts start before you get to the gates.
Throughout the run of the fair, you can get $3 off of each ticket you buy at FoodMaxx or SaveMart, and up to $7 off of unlimited carnival rides wristbands.
“Dscounted season passes are available on our website or in our box office until October 12,” Collins said.
Concerts at the Paul Paul aren’t the only form of entertainment.
“We have strolling acts that are consistently going throughout the fairgrounds,” Collins said. “You might see some of them on stilts. We have a free car show on the second Saturday of the fair.”
Too many deep-fried decisions on the fairgrounds? Thursday afternoons between 2 pm and 6 pm, satisfy your carnival cravings with $3 bites from nearly 60 vendors.
Pay close attention to vendor menus as some offer value meals, getting you more bang for your buck any day of the fair.
Fans and Followers Happy Hour can get you into the fair for $2 on October 13.
“Our $6 ‘Fill the Need Day’ is going to benefit the Amendola Family student cupboard at Fresno State,” Collins said.
