The annual celebration of Orange County’s LGBTQIA+ community returned to Downtown Santa Ana on Saturday, Oct. 10.
After a few years of OC Pride being hosted at the county fairgrounds, its organizers said they heard from folks who said they wanted to return to the event’s roots — the first Pride festival was held at Centennial Park in 1989.
This year’s celebration kicked off with a parade down 3rd Street ending at the festival area, which had multiple themed stages, community spaces, resources, a wellness zone and more.
The theme of this year’s OC Pride event was “Our Voices All Combined,” a reminder, organizers said, “that when our community speaks together, we are unstoppable.”
