The San Francisco Police Department and other law enforcement agencies have arrested four men they say are connected to the Feb. 9 shooting of 49ers defensive end Keion White at a club in the Mission.
The investigation, “Operation D-Line,” spanned from California to Georgia and expanded far beyond an isolated shooting at a nightclub. The case involved more than 50 search warrants and the assistance of more than 250 law enforcement personnel nationwide, officials said Wednesday in San Francisco. Officers say they seized firearms and nearly 15 pounds of narcotics during raids at the homes of suspects.
“What started as a shooting investigation expanded rapidly,” San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said.
The Los Angeles Police Department arrested the alleged gunman, Gregory Walker, 36, on Friday. San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said Walker has been charged with assault with a firearm, with allegations that he personally discharged the weapon that wounded White. Additional charges include causing great bodily injury as a result of the alleged shooting, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a concealed firearm by a felon, and possession of a loaded firearm by a felon.
Curtis Green, 35, was booked in San Francisco on misdemeanor weapons charges. Charges for the other two suspects, Marquis Davis, 38, and Antoine Washington, 36, have not been announced because they’re not in custody in San Francisco.
Davis was arrested in Atlanta; police say they found 820 grams of MDMA, 1,026 grams of methamphetamine, 979 grams of cocaine, and 3,842 grams of fentanyl at his home.
Washington was nabbed in Stockton, where police say they found a loaded firearm, more than 120 oxycodone pills, and approximately $6,691 in currency.
White, 27, underwent treatment hours after suffering a gunshot wound to the right ankle. Witnesses said he got into an argument with rapper Lil Baby at the nightclub Dahlia’s on Mission Street before gunshots were heard. Operation D-Line found that the suspects, some brandishing firearms, allegedly confronted White, leading to a physical altercation between him and the group.
Lew described the scene as “chaotic,” with patrons ducking for cover and fleeing in fear as gunfire rang out in the crowded club.

“This kind of violence is unacceptable in San Francisco, and we devoted significant resources to holding the perpetrators of this incident accountable,” Lew said.
Lil Baby, whose given name is Dominique Jones, is a Grammy-winning rapper from Atlanta who was in San Francisco for a performance.
The district attorney’s office is working to bring the out-of-town suspects to San Francisco for booking. SFPD Lieutenant Rich Hunt said Walker, Davis, Washington, and Green are the only suspects law enforcement has targeted in the ongoing investigation.
White, the veteran defensive end who was acquired ahead of the 2025 trade deadline, has started four of the 49ers’ five games this year and is on pace for a career best. He has recorded 3.0 sacks, a fumble recovery, and nine total tackles.
