SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A drone show lit up the sky above Sacramento’s Tower Bridge on Wednesday night, forming a series of mountains before revealing the names of country musicians set to perform at next October’s GoldenSky Country Music Festival at Discovery Park.
The show, which played twice, announced Zach Bryan, Megan Moroney, and Ty Myers as part of the festival’s lineup.
“It was really interesting. It was something I’ve never seen before in person. And it’s something that you’d have to see in person as well,” said Edgar Higgins, who attended the event. “To, to truly to, to to like it, you know, it was it was awesome.”
“It’s amazing for them to be up there and like feel like it’s just fully hanging like not, you know, like an airplane where it keeps moving on copter, you could see the propeller drones. They’re like still like the picture,” said Kimberly Higgins.
The GoldenSky Country Music Festival is set to return next year after a two-year pause. The full list of performers will be released tomorrow morning.
