Hopefully the recent rains have brought an end to the wildfire season here in the San Diego area. I wanted to offer my thanks to our local fire departments and Cal Fire for their excellent work keeping small flare-ups from turning into major events. During the season, it seemed phone apps were alerting users to the breakout of new fires on a daily basis. However, our fire agencies attacked quickly with proper resources to suppress these fires before they grew out of control. Thanks to these agencies for keeping us safe and limiting property damage.
