The west side of the Valley and Sierra crest will be windy through the first few hours of Saturday morning, but otherwise the weather is perfect for outdoor plans.

Saturday morning will be breezy on the west side of the Valley and in the Sierra, but by the afternoon perfect late October weather will take over.
This weekend will be dry with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
A weather system will kick the winds up again on Monday. There is also a chance for a few mountain showers to the north of Tahoe.
Late next week will turn cooler and cloudier. There is a chance it may rain next weekend, but there’s no need to call of Halloween plans at this point.

Saturday morning will start off breezy for the west side of the Valley and the high elevations of the Sierra, but otherwise the forecast is perfect for outdoor plans.
Clouds will increase some on Sunday.

The first few hours of Saturday will be breezy for part of the Valley and the high elevations in the Sierra. Winds will be lighter int he afternoon.
Next weather system
A weather system will pass by Northern California on Monday. There is a chance for some showers at the north coast and int he Sierra north of I-80.
Otherwise the biggest change will be an increase in the onshore breeze and cooler temperatures.
Halloween weekend outlook
Next weekend’s forecast is a bit up in the air. There is a chance for rain in California, but that chance is much higher for the southern half of the state.
This map shows the probability of wetter than normal conditions between Thursday October 29th and Monday, November 2nd. The darker the green shading, the higher the chance for rain and mountain snow.
Keep all Halloween plans scheduled, but also keep the weather in mind when planning trick-or-treat attire.
Foothills and Sierra 7 day forecast
Saturday morning and Monday will be breezy times in the Sierra. There may be a stray shower in the mountains early next week as well, but mainly north of I-80.
There is a chance for showers next Friday.
Valley 7 day forecast
This weekend will be mostly sunny and pleasant for outdoor plans.
Late next week will turn cloudier with the possibility for rain next weekend or early the following week.
