As president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County, Jason Hannold has focused on expanding opportunities for young people throughout the region through strategic partnerships, organizational development and sustainable community investment.
The organization serves more than 3,600 children and teens annually across its 14 club locations, providing academic support, mentorship, leadership development and enrichment programs.
Under Hannold’s leadership, Boys & Girls Clubs has pursued partnerships with Fresno County school districts, expanding their after-school programming and extending its reach to over 1,000 additional children.
He also introduced the United for Impact initiative, partnering with local nonprofits to provide free club membership for children in Fresno County.
Hannold’s leadership strategy includes the improvement of club facilities, increasing traditional membership by 15% and strengthening fundraising efforts to support long-term operation.
Most recently, Hannold brokered an investment worth $7 million for a new clubhouse in Del Rey from POM Wonderful.
His work in youth development predates the Boys & Girls Club, establishing the Farm Grown scholarship while working for the Fresno Grizzlies and distributing $150,000-$200,000 in scholarships while CEO of the Rotary Club of Fresno.
Recognized through Fresno’s 40 Under 40 and the California State FFA Honorary Degree, Hannold continues building partnerships that connect community resources with opportunities for Fresno County youth.
