Rex’s story: Although Rex looks like a miniature schnauzer, his DNA test shows that he’s a mix of other breeds. He loves to play and fetch without stopping. Getting into nature is a favorite pastime of his, as is hanging out with his people. He is potty trained and knows cues such as sit, down, wait, paw, touch, wait for food and crate. He likes all sorts of food, including veggies and fruits. Rex has lots of energy, and he needs a home where activity is a given. Hiking, walks, adventures, play … fun things such as these are a must or he’ll become bored. He loves the car, cuddling and snuggling. Rex gets along well with other playful dogs. He’s not a fan of small children and can be reactive when he’s on a leash. He has been taking medication to help him stay calm, and it has been helping him.
