Brides and others looking for luxury floral bouquets and gifts will be able to find them at a new floral shop that will open in Folsom.

Mayde Floral & Gifts is opening at 350 Palladio Parkway in the Folsom Palladio shopping plaza. The florist, which aims to open in late November, will specialize in seasonal floral arrangements and specialty bouquets.

The shop is owned by Taylor Breshears, who was born and raised in El Dorado Hills. She said she had been seeking to fulfill a lifelong passion since her 20s, moving from careers in real estate and consulting to entrepreneurship, where she is putting her love for crafts and flowers to use.

Breshears’ future in flower design came about after she made arrangements for victims of the November 2025 Stockton shooting. That’s when she realized how she could help others.

“I really love people, relationships, and helping humanity,” Breshears said. “So I thought it’s a really good way to be a business owner and be able to do that at the same time.”

Breshears also credits her career choice to early motherhood. She said becoming a mom at the age of 15 taught her responsibility and resilience that acclimated her to running a business.

Some of her floral arrangements include an assortment of hatbox roses, window bouquets and an ivory bouquet filled with cream-and-white colored flowers. These bouquets are available for order on the Mayde’s website.

The shop will carry orchids, roses, dahlias, peonies, hydrangeas, and other seasonal flowers in addition to arrangements for weddings, corporate events and other occasions.

Mayde’s gift catalog sells jam and grilling sauces from Boa Vista, a family-run farmer’s marker at Apple Hill in Placer County. Breshears said the catalog includes homemade beeswax candles and honey sourced from local beekeepers.

The florist shop replaces Folsom’s Pressed Juicery, which closed in March.
