Aloha, I’m Alaula! My name means “light of dawn” in Hawaiian, and I’m a cheerful puppy ready to brighten your days! I traveled all the way from Hawaii to Berkeley Humane in search of a loving home. Since I’m still young, I’ll need patience, guidance and basic training as I grow. In return, I’ve got plenty of puppy kisses, playful fun and love to share! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Meet Joey! This playful 2-year-old shepherd mix has plenty of energy and a love for adventure. Joey is a curious guy who enjoys exploring and putting his nose to work. He’s also a quick learner who loves training, especially when treats are involved! Joey enjoys playing with other dogs and is always up for a good game. After some fun, he’s happy to settle down for pets. Joey is ready to find a home where he can keep learning and exploring. Meet him in Oakland. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Meet Ms. Mousse, a 1-year-old brindle beauty with a big personality and a love for adventure. This energetic pitty mix enjoys exploring the outdoors and is looking for someone to join her on life’s adventures. She’s still learning all of her leash manners and will benefit from patience and positive reinforcement. Ms. Mousse can walk calmly past other dogs but prefers space when meeting them, so she’d do best as the only dog in the home. If you’re looking for a fun, active companion, Ms. Mousse could be your girl. To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.
