Plenty of coffee news is brewing in Clovis lately.

There’s a new big chain drive-thru, 7 Brew, coming to Clovis and Shaw avenues. And four new mom-and-pop coffee shops are either open or on their way.

So that got us thinking. What’s the best coffee shop in Clovis?

We’ll leave the answer up to you. You can tell us in our poll below.

To keep things from getting out of control, we’re setting aside chains, including Starbucks, Dutch Bros, The Human Bean and Bottoms Up Espresso for now to focus on the locally owned places. And we decided to focus on true coffee shops, not pop-ups.

We also excluded The Rodeo Coffee Shop and B S Coffee Shop. Despite the words “coffee shop” in their names, they’re breakfast spots that focus on drip coffee, not lattes and other espresso-based drinks most of us associate with today’s coffee shops. (Oh, and before you come for us, know that Otherside Cafe is just inside the border of Fresno, not in Clovis.)

If you think we’ve accidentally omitted anyone, please feel free to email your votes to bclough@fresnobee.com.

The criteria for deciding best coffee shop is up to you. Whether it’s the flavor of the coffee or the vibe of the place, you tell us who is the best coffee shop in Clovis.

We’ll leave the poll up until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday and let you know the winner soon after. Since this is about fun, not science, feel free to vote as many times as you want and share this with your friends.

And happy caffeinating.
