Sacramento City Councilmember Lisa Kaplan’s office told KCRA 3 that the remains are presumed to be Moore, but final forensic confirmation is still pending from the coroner’s office.
Monday morning, the Sacramento Police Department was called to East Commerce Way and Tanzanite Avenue after the discovery of human remains in a field.

It’s not far from where Moore, also known as “LJ,” was last seen at the Aisle 1 Fuel Station on Arena Boulevard. He was last seen on June 28, 2025.
The 33-year-old was legally blind and disabled, according to this family, and he would regularly visit the gas station near the family’s home.
Moore’s family suspected foul play in his disappearance, but police have not confirmed this in their investigation.
