Fans of the Latino group Los Bukis can celebrate another historic step in their career.
Live Nation announced that a mural of the iconic Mexican group will be unveiled Thursday at SoFi Stadium.
In addition to the unveiling, the group’s leader, Marco Antonio Solís, is expected to make an important announcement recognizing their impact on the evolution of their touring career.
In July, the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The group, who’s from Michoacán, Mexico dedicated the star to immigrants in the United States.
“Our hearts go out to all the people suffering during these adversities we are experiencing. We fully trust that this will have a prompt solution,” said Solís during his speech upon receiving the star.
The group has broken records, headlining sold-out shows at stadiums like SoFi in Los Angeles and Soldier Field in Chicago.
“Before Los Bukis performed two consecutive sold-out nights at SoFi Stadium in August 2021, no other Latin artist had toured or performed in stadiums in the United States,” said Live Nation.
Some of their hits include “Quiéreme,” “Tu Cárcel,” “Yo Te NecesitO,” “Y Ahora Te Vas,” and “Morenita,” among many others.
The unveiling is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. on Thursday at SoFi. Fans are welcome to attend.
