INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League Announced the 2026 #HLWSOC All-League Awards, naming Oakland’s Brae Cole to the All-League Third Team as a defender.
Cole secures her second consecutive All-League season after being named to the All-League Second Team in 2025.
This season, Cole started in each of her 14 appearances, logging a team-high 1,219 minutes during the season. The Golden Grizzly captain did a little bit of everything for Oakland this season, playing in both the defense and midfield as an elite piece of the back line and attacking midfield.
She has been a key connecting piece of the team and created countless scoring chances for the Golden Grizzlies, while also stopping opponent attacks on the other end. She led the Oakland defense to a pair of shutouts throughout the course of the season, holding opponents to one goal or less nine times.
Also mentioned in the All-League honors was Oakland midfielder Ella Shapiro, who for the second season in a row was named as the teams’ Sportsmanship Award Finalist.
