The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals will meet on Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium, with Kyle Shanahan’s squad looking to sweep the season series against their division rival.
San Francisco hosted their final practice of the week on Friday, which resulted in a mixed bag of injury updates from Shanahan.
The coach announced that cornerback Deommodore Lenoir will be the lone 49er who’s questionable for Sunday’s matchup with a calf injury. He told reporters that Lenoir suffered the injury during practice on Thursday and said the cornerback tried to practice on Friday, but he wasn’t able to. He’ll have an MRI done soon.
San Francisco will, however, get quarterback Brock Purdy and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall back after their long absences. Purdy has appeared in just two games this season, while Pearsall has played in four, but both have been out since their Week 4 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their returns should give the offense a boost on Sunday.
Defensive lineman Alfred Collins (hip) and linebacker Dee Winters (knee) had also been limited participants on Wednesday and Thursday. They were full participants on Friday and are good to go on Sunday.
